Little House in the Snow

Dear Jake & Amelia,
Our trip took an unexpected turn. We had been continuing to hug the coastline on our way south. We were just north of Daytona Beach, watching the Harley's converge for biker's week and looking forward to driving on The Beach. My sister-in-law called and told us that my brother's cancer had become very dangerous. We drove straight north. It was an easy decision to turn north to visit  and encourage him. We're glad we took the detour. We arrived just before New England was buried in snow from an early March storm. We are about to head south by a different route. Wish us fair skies!
