Dear Jake & Amelia,
Sometimes on the road your windshield gets covered with bugs. And sometimes your windshield cracks. The crack appeared as soon as we crossed the border into Texas. A rock was thrown against the windshield by one of the many passing trucks. We began to notice lots of cracked windshields around us. The Texans we met were not surprised.
