Dear Jake & Amelia,
If you can find the tiny town of Story, stop at the Piney Point General
Store. Inside, you will find a small restaurant called The Waldorf
A'Story. We stopped there for breakfast. The general store carried a
variety of goods including groceries, cast iron pans, antiques,
t-shirts, hats, gifts, and more. The place was packed with stuff.
The restaurant, carved out of one corner, was encrusted with kitsch and
nick knacks. Stools at the small counter were made from tree trunks. We
sat at a tiny table near a dusty window. A coke bottle was
embedded in the stone window sill. The napkins came out of the roof of a
ceramic log cabin. Breakfast was great. We feasted on an egg, tomato,
cheese and bacon grilled sandwich made with big slabs of sourdough
bread. All the food looked good.
