Corn at Busa Farms

Somerville, MA
September 2001

Dear Jake & Amelia,
As we drove towards Somerville, the road broadened. Cars appeared and traffic lights and more cars. The blue sky was full of dramatic clouds trying to organize into a thunderhead. We drove to Busa Farms to buy their wonderful sweet corn. They still had corn! The wooden benches in front of the farm stand were covered with orange pumpkins. We drove the few miles to our other house, conscious of traffic and congestion. We pulled the Little House into the driveway. Our stationary house greeted us. We cooked the corn for supper. That night we slept indoors, leaving our home in the driveway.
